Steven's championing the accessibility of legal English for those who need it landed him recognition from the Global Legal Skills Institute in 2024—an award he'd no doubt say was possible only because of the work of many inspired others.
Steven is a Georgetown Law legal English lecturer, co-host of the USLawEssentials Law & Language Podcast, and founder of the international Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme alumni magazine and career center, JETwit.com.
He is a frequent guest lecturer and online legal English curriculum designer with roots in New Jersey, a passion for teaching and ultimate Frisbee, and the fortune to still be able to do both near and far from home as time allows.
