Part ONE: Steven, the professional.

Most can document what we're planning; what we've planned. What's been accomplished, however, is a much more difficult inventory to elicit. Steven's annual accomplishments belie the amount of time we all posses in a single day; examined by the decade (as if it were even possible to condense them into a digestible volume), they'd model almanac entries. Here are a curated few.

How to eat an elephant

Opportunity and a hunch give you the nutty idea to better connect an unwieldy network of tens of thousands of JET alumni. But it's 2008, and with smart phones in their infancy and social networks just beginning to bubble, how in the world are you gonna actually pull that off?

Hustling up a blended career

Paying attention to what guides you in life will propel you to a point in that adventure where people begin to refer to you as "one of the more interesting people they know." The path may be arduous, and the chorus will often sing in opposition to your melody of choices. Whose voice do you listen to?

Enabling others

Curiosity opens doors; empathy keeps us inside the room. Becoming master of both requires strength in character and discipline, and a stubborn belief that helping others is what we can and should be doing with our lives. But who are you best suited to help? Alas, that is the secret.

Part TWO: Steven, the Dad.

Because despite all that work, and the blur of motion that surrounds it...

Still,

there is time...

for family.
